Day 0

Today marked the beginning of our long-anticipated journey. We departed Thursby at 10:30 AM in our motorhome, affectionately known as MOO, who proved to be the perfect traveling companion despite her healthy appetite for fuel.

The journey north was remarkably smooth, and after seven hours on the road we arrived at the John O'Groats campsite. We paused to capture the moment with photographs and took time to ensure our mobiles and other tech gear were properly set up for tomorrow's first day of walking.

As evening settled in, we had a simple dinner of spaghetti bolognese in the compact kitchen before turning in for the night, ready for the start of the adventure tomorrow!
